MAP

ALLOW 85 minutes by car from Highgate Village, A1 {Northbound}to A406 {Westbound} to A40 {Westbound} onto M40{westbound} passed Oxford and at Junction 9 take the brown sign to Blenheim Palace. The road is signposted to Blenheim Palace, but tricky to follow! Enter by the main gate and show the gate man the PASS {Essential for free entry}. He will direct you to parking of his choice! Tell him you have heavy kit to carry and park as near to the entrance as possible. Once inside the Palace walk past the Orangery into the main courtyard, and follow the signs in front of the wings to the formal gardens and cafeteria, walk though these and onto the main lawn. A haul of about 1000 meters from the Car Park! The pavilion is a 'hut' hidden in the trees to the right of the square, with the Palace to your back.
